The Bay Area Chapter of the American Harp Society is pleased to announce that a new Board of Directors has been elected. According to the by-laws of the chapter, an election will take place bi-annually, in odd numbered years (i.e. 2013). Following is a listing of the new Board Members and their positions:

Vice President:Susie Spiwak
Secretary: Henry Heines
Treasurer: Melinda Chinn
Website/Advertising/Promotion: Erica Messer
Facebook Administrator: Mitch Landy
The board members serve to represent the interests of all members of the chapter. They serve in a volunteer capacity to promote the harp and harp community through events, concerts, scholarships, etc.
In addition, Karen Gottlieb, Dominique Piana, and Jessica Siegel have volunteered to serve in an advisory capacity.
We would like to thank the outgoing Board who served over the past two years, particularly our departing President, Dominique Piana, for her vision and passion for the Bay Area Chapter of the American Harp Society.
