Do you have article ideas for the BACAHS newsletter?  Would you like to write a concert review or discuss ideas for practicing sight-reading or share tips for getting harps up terrible stair cases?  Share your perspective!  This is an open call for short articles on any topic related to the harp and our local harp community for our newsletter and blog.  Interested?  Email BACAHS Newsletter Editor Jennifer Ellis at harpellis@gmail.com for more information.

August 19th – Kristal Barlaan
Free Community Harp Concert – August 19th at 4 p.m. at 11000 Shasta Ave. in San Jose, CA 95126.  Come enjoy an afternoon of harp music. This concert will be a mix of students and professionals (including local harpists Ricky Rasue, Jessica Schaeffer, Sara Goss, and Kristal Barlaan) collaborating in unique ways to entertain and educate. A mix fo classical and contemporary music. Free! Wine and cheese included. Bring a friend.
